What Is Sopapilla?

Cinnamon-spiced Sopapilla Cheesecake is made with fluffy crescent dough and cream cheese filling. It's super easy to make and perfect for any event!

You'll only need crescent roll dough, cream cheese, and a few other ingredients to make this easy recipe.

Simple Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350°F, and lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Prepare to Bake

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the baking dish.

Add Bottom Crust

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg.

Make the Filling

Pour batter over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish, and spread it out evenly.

Spread the Filling

Unroll second can of dough and carefully place it on top of the cream cheese layer.

Add the Top Crust

Spread melted butter over top crust. Then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the butter.

Top the Cheesecake

Bake for 30 minutes, then let cool to room temp before moving it to the fridge to chill.
