- 1 pound button mushrooms, rinsed and dried
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- salt, to taste
- fresh ground pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided
Melt butter in a large 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
Stir in garlic and season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for 30 seconds.
Add 1 tablespoon parsley and stir around.
Remove from heat.
Taste for seasonings and adjust accordingly.
Garnish with remaining parsley and serve.
