Warm, golden brown crusts are filled with pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and more! 

Combine the flour, milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it stand for 5 minutes.

Proof the Yeast

Once the yeast is bubbly, add the water and olive oil.  Stir, and then knead in the salt.

Make Dough

Knead the dough for 10 minutes.  Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.

Knead and Rise

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide into 4-5 pieces.  Roll each piece into an 8-inch circle.

Roll Out Dough

Spread sauce over half of each piece of dough. Add seasonings, cheese, and toppings.

Add Filling

Fold and seal each calzone and crimp the edges.  Brush with egg, top with mozzarella, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
