Prep. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Cook the steak tips. Season the steak tips with salt and pepper and add them to the hot oil in one single layer; cook for 3 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet, cover, and set aside.
Sauté the onions and mushrooms. Add butter to the skillet and melt it over medium-high heat. Stir in the onions and cook for 30 seconds, stirring occasionally. Add the mushrooms; season with salt and pepper and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and browned.
Add garlic and flour. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 20 seconds. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and steak; mix and stir for 1 minute until the flour is absorbed.
Stir in the liquids. Slowly add the beef broth to the skillet; slowly whisk in the Worcestershire sauce and continue to whisk until the sauce is smooth and no lumps appear.
Continue to cook. Bring the mixture to a simmer; cook for 2 minutes, or until thickened. Stir the beef tips back into the skillet; stir to coat with the sauce and continue to cook for a minute, or until the beef tips are heated through.
Serve. Remove the beef tips from the heat, garnish with parsley, and serve.
