Tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, these oven-baked chicken breasts are ready in about 20 minutes! It’s an easy dinner that’s also perfect for meal prep.
Prep. Preheat the oven to 425˚F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Combine the seasonings. In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, and pepper.
Prep the chicken. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Transfer the chicken to the baking dish and generously spray all sides of the chicken with cooking spray. Then season both sides evenly with the prepared spice mixture.
Bake. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 17 to 20 minutes, or until the thickest part of the chicken breasts registers at 165˚F on an instant-read meat thermometer.
Rest the chicken, then serve. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 to 7 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve.
